Okay I am taking bets on how early your own kids will be waking up?

I bet mine will be awake around 5. Hawke will be first. He will come in to me and wake me up and then the rest will follow. I am hoping that it will be more like 6 though.

we have problems with that issue. it will probably be a bad night this yr due to one child refusing to sleep ever.

LOL !!! My kids are usually the opposite, I have in the past went and woke them up at like 6am !!! I know...I should let them sleep, but I can't wait any longer..:p

Watch this year be the year my kids get up at 5am !!!!!!!!:eek:

Well I'm guessing Hannah and Molly will be down around 630. Hannah will accidently wake Molly up. Kristen will grumble that the girls woke her up too early..and we'll wait for Cory to wake up to open presents...sometime around 8 or 9! :rolleyes:

Tom will be up at 7 for Lantus. He may as well go back to sleep because his sister will likely roll out around 11 or 12. She is the original reason to let sleeping children sleep.

We will open presents, eat a brunchy meal, and head out to PA for as few days as I can get away with. Jenn has to work Sunday so we will certainly be back by then.

Well, sadly Kristen has to be at work at 12pm. (Movie Theatre) Otherwise we would probably all sleep until at least Noon. Oh well, I am thinking we will get up around 9:30 or 10 so she can open gifts and then get ready for work.

My parents usually get up really early. Like 7 AM. Since we're going to the movies later tomorrow, I'll probably wake up around 8:00 or 8:30. If we weren't going to the movies, I would stay up until 1:00 and wake up at 10:00.

Neal will probably be up at 7:00 but he's already said he'll wait and let us sleep until 8:00. Alex says that's way to early but he's willing to try to get up at 8:00.

Then we'll probably nap some later if the house is clean enough for guests arriving in the afternoon.

Yep, me too!! We were actually thinking of going to bed early and then when we have to get up for the 3am BG test, stay up and wrap everything then!!

They are under strict orders to not wake us before 7:30. But we hear them anyway!! :D

My older one's will sleep till about 7:00 probably. Sam will most likely be up around 5:00 though. :eek: He said he would try to be quiet but he tears through presents like an 8 year old tornado so i'm not sure how well him being quiet will work out.

I would guess about 8. My little brother(he's 19) wanted to know how early we would be up so he could come over when we unwrap things. I said probably around 8, but maybe even as late as 9 since Ive had to wake Kylee up almost every morning this week. He thinks 8 is too late:) He lives like 2 minutes away and I told him to call and see if we were up first, so Id bet he calls at 8 on the dot. His girlfriend is here too, and she thinks he's crazy.

When I was a kid I was ALWAYS the first one awake on Christmas morning.

I always hated being the first to wake...because I had to wait forever for my brother to get up to open presents(he has always been a late sleeper). I much prefer them waking me, so I don't have to wait LOL.

Depending on how late we stay up(my brother wants to drive around and look at Christmas lights...even though it is now 11:00 at night)....we will probably be up between 7-9am.

I woke up at 6:30, checked Jess and that woke her up.
She did stay in bed while I got the breakfast casserole put together.

Now mil, jess, and I are waiting for everyone else to get up.

7:45 am here, and all is quite. Both girls, dog, and cat are still sleeping.

We always put the kids to bed for a sleepover at Nan's, then proceed to wait for Santa, then, when he is done we wake the kids up at about midnight, with my brothers and sisters, spouses and 7 nieces, we spend about 2 hours opening gifts. Then it is home to bed. So after getting home around 2 am, mine were up at 9 to open the Santa stash here. What a crazy tradition:rolleyes:
