Hayleigh has not had a doughnut in about a year. Kinnikinnick makes them but they are hard to find.

Every Sunday our church has doughnuts and Hayleigh of course can't have them. So, yesterday I found a great recipe for doughnuts and decided to make just the holes (smaller and less carbs) They turned out GREAT!!! She was so happy to finally have them and even my non GF kids loved them.

The only problem is, I tried to guess at the carbs. It didn't work. The site where I got the recipe says 20.5 carbs in a regular sized doughnut, BUT it says that does not include the GF flour mix or the xantham gum. So does anyone have any idea how I can figure it out? 2 doughnut holes shot her BS way up and obviously I didn't give enough. (I figured 15 for each one) Any ideas?

Also, if you want it, here's the recipe.

THANK YOU for posting this! Our church also has Coffee & Doughnut Sundays (2x per month). In fact this past Sunday, we went and brought T a GF scone. Afterwards, she asked me when she could have a doughnut:(. I was heartbroken! She just wants what everyone else is having. Your post is so very timely!

I'm glad I could help! I hate when they feel left out. :(

I really wish you hadn't posted this. They are far too good, and I'm sure I'll gain 10 pounds:D!

Thanks
