Prayers Needed for my Mom

My Mom tried to commit suicide last night. She took an exacto knife to her wrists. She is battling depression, alcoholism and she has been taking pills that were not prescribed to her. None of us knew that it had gotten so bad. She is at our local mental health center as of right now. I don't know what will happen from here. I guess once you hit rock bottom you can only go up.

I am very sorry you are going through this. I lost my brother to suicide in Feb 2007 and then lost my uncle and cousin within 1 day of each other in June this year, my uncle due to accidental overdose on pain meds and his son committed suicide after finding out his father had died.

It is really a horrible situation that I would wish upon no one. I really hope your mom gets the help she needs to move foward and upward in her life.

Amanda I am so sorry to hear this, Rob has suffered from Depression for a long time, and is actually hitting bottom right now, and I am single again :( He has tried himself a few times when we first got together, and is at least realizing now that he needs help.
I will be praying for your mom and I totally understand where you are at right now. Be strong, and take care of yourself.
