Christmas cards?

Ok, we would like to send each of you a christmas card :eek: Just to say that we think you are all great & that we are thinking of you over the christmas period. We dont mind where you live (majority of you are all thousands of miles away anyway) :D

To those of you who are willing to PM or Email me your address that would be lovely.

Just our way of saying a HUGE THANKYOU for being there :)

I have been on parent forums before that do a holdiay card exchange list......it is a lot of fun.....and I;ve had christmas cards from all over th coutnry and world....pretty neat.....

You just need one parent who agrees to collect the infomation, put it on a spreadhseet and then e-mail out to those who are on it.....

It can get tricky....if there are 200 on a list....do you need to send to all 200....or just those you "know".......most usually say....just do the ones you "know" and coorespond with.....but.....if someone does all 200.....are they left with hurt feelings ? when they only get 25 in return ?

There was a card exchange last year. I am blanking right now on who put it together (a spreadsheet with all of the info). There were a lot of names on there, want to say about 50 or so, it was a bit of an expense when you figure postage, etc. We are trying to scale things back this year, so I probably won't be able to do the exchange, unless we can get emails to send an e-card.

Emails....yes that would be great to send e-cards! Good idea :D I have a few addresses already so i am still prepared to post some cards but i dont expect one in return :p Honestly we are doing this because we want to say thankyou ;)

I can gather the addresses and make/distribute the list, if you want. I would just have to have them all by Thanksgiving so that there is enough time to put it together and also enough time for the international people to mail, if that's what they want.

I may end up regretting this one, huh?! :rolleyes: I can take the pm's and make the list. Are we emailing or snail-mailing? I actually prefer to snail-mail but I will do either way. I like to show my girls the different stamps/postmarks and also the different types of cards from different areas.

Personally i would like to snail-mail, for the same reasons as you :D I will pm you later as i am a bit pushed for time at present (07.46am) getting kids ready fro school :)
