Switching endos

Has anyone switched endos to the one in the college town?

We're just having too many problems with our current office, but I'm needing some moral support. I guess it's my making that break. I suppose I won't be going to the appointments anymore if we switch. :(

OSUMom is having separation anxiety I think. :o

I would recommend that you at least go to one appointment so the staff knows you. My son also has given permission for me to contact them to ask questions, etc. or in case of emergency.

Our Endo gave me his email address and I contact him this way, privately.

Steven goes to all his own appointments and is really good at calling me before he leaves the parking lot to fill me. This helped my anxiety.

We tried to find an endo near Alex's college but the closest was 15 min away and seemed to do mostly T2's. The others were about 45 min if he had a car....with the bus and train, it would have taken longer so we decided to get one here.

I would think if you can find one close enough, he'd be able to go more often. And even though you can't go, that would be better....to go more often.

You'll be fine mom. :cwds: He'll call you and tell you about the appts and you can give him a list of things to ask about, etc.

We are one and a half years away from this yet, but if Tony goes to the local Uni then he will be closer to our current endo (woohoo). Unfortunately he has ambitions a bit further afield, so I may yet have to face this one. My feeling, now (may change after I develop separation anxiety), would be to find one closer to where they spend most time.

A good way to find an endo in a new town is ask the pump rep for that area. They know who is good or not.

Thanks Brett we're set on the endo, and yes we were heartbroken on the game. :( I would have loved to meet the team at the airport to show my support. They put forth a great effort.
