Do you worry about changing your mind about likening the colours of your pump? I have decided to go with a second cozmo pump and I am considering either the blue or the green one. This seems stupid but I feel like green is kind of a trendy colour at the moment and that might change. I don’t really have any basis to say that green is currently a fashionable colour, and colours are not usually trendy, although I do recall that orange was really in style around 2001, and I remember bright yellow being in style at one point.
Anyways, I worry about regretting choosing a green pump. I know that cozmo officially does not switch colours when you call for a replacement. I have seen many people comment that they switched colours by request when they needed a replacement, however. I actually have had ice blue, purple and black. Once when I needed a replacement I requested a different colour but the after hours nurse said it was impossible. Since they ask what colour my pump is every time I call for a replacement, the times when I actually lied and said I had the colour I wanted.
If for some reason it becomes impossible to switch colours I don’t want to regret the choice of green, and my new cozmo will have a 5-year warranty. I actually miss the ice blue sometimes, and I wonder why they discontinued ice blue and purple. Maybe ice blue was an example of a colour considered faddish, or maybe they wanted more gender neutral colours – not sure if ice blue is feminine or not?
