My 21 year old daughter will be spending a semester in Denmark. Has anyone had similar experience? What contingencies should she consider? I'd love to have a Danish parent with type 1 diabetes skills near by that she could reach out to in an emergency.

Try getting in contact with the US embassy. They can help you with this issue.

One thing to ask is if the insulin sold there is of the same strength as that which you buy..Also, what their rules are for prescriptions etc. COntact the embassy - also ask your endo for a referral - if there is a university hospital where your daughter is going to be you are more likely to find someone there..
