Sensor problem solved

In another thread I talked about my sensors not always reading my higher values. Well the last one I pulled which had been the worst, great for anything under 130 but showing nothing higher, and when I pulled it and looked I discovered that the sensor wire itself was folded back in half. At first I thought it had broken off in my skin because it was so short but I pulled on it and it unfolded. I think I discovered the reason at least with this sensor for the odd results. It was in my thigh so I wonder if it hit muscle going in. I am going to start inspecting everytime I remove a sensor.:p Ali

I have been thinking about that folded sensor. It could not have happened with initial insertion as the needle goes in and that would cut through the muscle but maybe when I removed the needle it caught on the wire and pulled it partially back?... or maybe it was laying between muscle fibers and got bent back. Very odd, it was not a bend or slight kink but a true folded back upon itself. Oh well, just amazed it worked at all. :DAli
