Pumpkin Pie ...Surprise!

Tonight Scott and I are starting to cook our TG meal and he wants to do every step. So we made the cranberry sauce and were starting on the crust for the pumpkin pie. It needed to be formed into a ball before rolling out and he insisted on doing it. Pretty soon he spills a bunch of flour and butter on the floor and the bowl almost crashes to the floor. I take it away and say that is not what I want to happen. Well, I'm about to continue the process and what do I find? A bandaid all covered in butter. Who knows there may still be another one in the crust. I know not all type 1-ers use bandaids but Scott thinks they take the hurt away from the finger prick and does not like me to take them off, so they end up all over every where--including the pumpkin pie!

I remember the whole bandaid thing.... Charlize was covered in them.. Head to toe.. litrally... I would get looks from strangers like I hurt my child or something... I am soooo happy that phase is over.. But hey anything to make them feel better

LOL about the pie! Zach HAS to have band-aids, too. I make him take the previous one off before I will put a new one on.

I guess you were making Pumpkin surprise!?!?! We used a lot of Band-aids in the beginning with Braden. I finally cut him off after several warnings of where the Band-aids go when he takes them off. They ended up everywhere-but never the trash! We haven't used Band-aids for months, but I still find a couple a week!
