Van almost didn't stop for bus

My kids catch the bus at the end of our driveway. the speed limit on our road is 55 it is a small 2 lane road in the country. I am so glad that they don't cross the road ecause the van stopped right at the bus drivers window. People are alway flying down this road. are house sits back aways from the road and we have a wire fence around us fields on three sides.

I watch cars pass the bus stop signs all afternoon. I'm glad my daughter doesn't have to cross the street, and that I can be there to meet her everyday.

my kids catch the bus at the end of our road/driveway (we are the first house on our road) the speed limit is 30mph here.. but people are often doing 50.. its a main road, but we are the beginning of a very small town.. I have to cross the road to get Kaylee, they won't let her cross by herself because people are to dense to stop.. they also stop at the driveway before our road, and then ours.. and there are countless cars that drive right by while the RED lights are on because they assume the kid got off, they don't think there is another stop right there (even though I'm standing there, usually giving them dirty looks, LOL, for not stopping.. ) its the same thing in the afternoon when my oldest gets off the bus..
