Yes. It was reflected in my daily blood sugars and I did adjust my dose. Infact I was on like 8 injections day (some days) my clinic blamed it on me eating to much. It was my overnight insulin that was affected and we did increase that dose to but because the pen wasnt injection the right amount it didnt make any difference. I also checked my precisption (I cant spell) and accordin to the precisption I was gettin the right pen. Im not gona bother claiming but still. I thought it would be a message to people. Coz it can happen! :o

That is enough detail to make a different statement. I say shame on the clinic for not investigating the problems you were having better. It is too easy to take the common route -- lots of folks eat too much -- rather than examine all the factors carefully or to suggest that you do so. Getting new insulin is a common technique to resolving problems. I know my son's doctor makes lots of assumptions based on what happens commonly and not all apply to my son.

Yes, it is always important to remember that there may be something wrong with the insulin. With highs and lows, there are so many different variables that can cause them, and sometimes it really takes a good bit of testing and investigating to figure out what is causing them. I suppose that is why it is so good to get into a regular routine and to keep track of your BG readings! I am glad that you figured out what was wrong so that you can correct it, and be more alert to mistakes in the future. I hope that you suffer no ill effects!
