A pharmacy made a mistake with my injector pen for my insulin. I injected my medication unaware that for two months I wasnt recieving the correct amount. I ended up in hospital and as a result could have kidney/eye damage in the future? Should I claim against them?

Wow, sorry to hear that happened. I would probably contact a lawyer and see what they have to say. Call your local American Diabetes Assoc. chapter to see what they have to say about this, they may even have some lawyers that they could refer you to.
I don't mean to sound callous, but I am not sure that you'd have much of a case. If you were not getting enought insulin from your pen, that should have been reflected in your multiple daily blood glucose tests, for which you should be making corrective doses.
I am sorry that this happened to you, but unless I am missing something, it sounds to me like you should have picked up on the mistake long before 2 months had gone by.

This definitely is a reminder to check everything you get from the pharmacy. I was under the impression that the were giving you the wrong brand/dosing. As stated above, don't want to sound cruel, but any lawyer would probably ask if you were checking your perscription upon receipt. Hope you don't have any ill effects.
