i strongly advise against rock climbing while wearing an insulin pump...i just got back from a 7 day cruise, and the ship had a rock wall, and i have always been into rock climbing, so i went rock climbing a bunch...the first time i went on this wall, i just had my pump clipped to my jeans pocket and didnt think anything of it, until i was at the top of the wall(30 ft. give or take a few) and my pump came un done from my pocket, and the only thing that was holding it on to my body was the infusion set...so from then on i just put it on suspend and put it in my shoe so it wouldnt get broken or anything(you had to wear special rock climbing shoes)...
