Fall TV ... who's watching what?

I watch far too much TV and due to the strike last year I've been dying to get back into my favorite shows. So what's everyone excited to watch this year?

I'll list just a few of the shows I'm excited to see:
-The Office
-Heroes
-Pushing Daisies (of course)

That's about it for me. I watch my soap, news shows and a few other shows like Dirty Jobs, cooking shows, history channel but I don't watch a lot of prime time tv.

I really like HBO's series Big Love (http://www.hbo.com/biglove/index.html)but new seasons don't even come out yearly, it's more like every 18 months, or so. I have no idea when season 3 will come, or if it will.

However, fox has a new series called Fringe (http://www.fox.com/programming/shows/new/fringe.htm). I've watched the premier and the second episode so far. Its suspenseful, and humorous. I especially like the mad scientist guy.

Glad we have a DVR, we record most of our shows and watch without the commercials :p. Nice to watch a show in 30 minutes rather than an hour :D

I am soooooooooo glad House is back on. I'll be even happier or at least as happy once 24 gets back on.. been way too long thanks to the stupid strike. Lost won't be back till winter. :o( Desperate Housewives is starting back on the 28th. Those are my must see t.v.
Brothers and Sisters, Medium, and occasionally L&O SVU when I can remember they are on and want to watch something. Watched Fringe after House this week, looks promising but I have a hard time getting "into" any new shows anymore since they seem to get cancelled within the first month.

There is a new show that will premier this month and I forgot the name of it..It is about a guy who pays attention to details.

The Mentalist. I am curious about this one too. I'll give it a try and if I like it I'll keep watching. It looks like my kinda show, plus Simon Baker is dreamy.

I also dig all of the medical shows (House, Scrubs, ER, Greys) and many of the cop shows (L&O SVU, Cold Case, Without A Trace, CSI). I also fell in love with Dexter when one of the networks was showing re-runs. I imagine I will start watching that on DVD next summer, Big Love too. The Thursday night NBC line up is really where it's at for me. Three solid hours of good TV!!! I really watch too much TV.

Dirty Sexy Money - this was (despite the bad name) one of the BEST shows that I've watched in a long time. I wish more people would watch. It's really really funny and sarcastic and just very very good. Sadly it had bad luck with the writers strike and never came back after that but is supposed to be back October 1st.

I also really hope Big Love comes back soon, that is one of my all time favorite shows. That is my "after the kids go to bed" shows. They watch all of the other shows.
