I was under the impression that a non-D person would not have BG readings higher than say 110 even after drinking a barrel of GatoradeToday i noticed this graph in one of minimed's booklets. It shows that post prandial BGs in normal people WILL go to 150s. We (i.e. me) shouldnt be concerned so much about < 150 Bgs after meals. There still is the story of spikes though.

One of John Walsh's slides confirms it.

So everybody, here's a good news at least to me:
If your after-meal BG are not more than 150 then you are not just "in good control" but "pretty much like a non-D"
(Provided there is no spike)

Yep, above 200 is abnormal for after meal. Fasting should not be greater then 129. Although a non D persons bg will rise when ill b/c illness creates insulin resistance, so sometimes if you are just above those lines they are not concerned when a non D is ill.
