Hi All :D Newbie frm Greater Manchester UK

Well Im new to this site but have been babbling on via a facebbok site for some months lol. For those who already know me :D 'Hi' and for those who dont.........
Im Sharyn, Mum to Evie (4) Diagnosed with Type 1 at 22 months (2006) and currently on the Basal Bolus regime, using Rapid 3 times a day and Levemir twice a day. She has also just had a positive screening for Coeliacs and we are currently awaiting the dreaded biopsy before we get started on the Gluten Free diet :eek:
Look forward to chatting to anyone similar and of course pass on any knowledge that I have picked up myself over the last 2 yrs.

Hi Sharyn! Welcome to our site!! The best place to post on this site for parents is definitely the parents of children with type 1. People from all over the world post on there and it gets the most traffic. There are lots of moms and dads with kids with celiac, too. A great place for the support we all need! :)

Hi Sharyn! Welcome to our site...its fantastic to have another member join us from the UK!! It gets very quiet on the UK thread but if you ask questions on the Parents of children with Type 1 Diabetes you will receive plenty of advice & info.
