Great article, my son is starting highschool this year, we still have the 4 years to prep for college, but some great ideas on how to make him even more independent with his diabetes management. Thank-you.

It was good. We're picking up my son from jazz camp tomorrow, and just that little taste of him heading off on his own makes me realize how hard it's going to be to let go come college time! It's really hard to find that line between not over-burdening a teen, and making sure they're ready and able to handle things on their own when they leave.
But the other thing that struck me -- I've hardly ever seen such unappetizing-looking food. Yuck.
