I just got a letter today from Sanvita (people that took over the meters for DB). They say that their new Nova Max link meter is the upgrade system for the Paradigm Link meter. That there is basically an alternative (option) to the One Touch Crap-O-Link meter  . When the new Ultralink meter came out, our original Paradigm Link meter crapped out on us and we were forced to switch. We were hessitant to use the new One Touch Ultralink meter because it requires more blood and we really don't use all of it's other features. At that time, Nova only offered a non-Link meter option (that I knew of). Well not anymore. I just got off the phone with Nova and they are sending me a free upgrade Nova Max Link meter, and also a replacement for the Paradigm Link meter that is no longer working. The new meter has increased memory, "No Coding", and the same 0.3 microliters sample. Uses the Nova Max test strips, which for us are still cheaper than our insurances perferred One Touch test strips. The phone number to call if intrested is 1-800-681-7390.
