I just bought Smooze fruit ice (coconut guava:)) at Whole Foods. They are listed as 7 carbs per package so I thought it would make a great dessert. Now I am looking more closely at the nutrition facts, I see that for sugars it says 9g.

I can't imagine how something with 9g sugar could only have 7 total carbs. What do you guys think? It appears to be mostly juice (87% according to the package) with some added sugar.

She already ate it and I bolused for 7 so we shall see........

There are typos all over the place. Look at what the calories are and see if it adds up correctly for 7 or 9 carbs. Otherwise, play it safe and assume 7 for now.

Calories = 50, Calories from fat are 20, so 7 could be correct. At any rate, her numbers were fine later so the carb count was either correct or not off by much anyway.

I eat those all the time, and I calculate the carbs at 7. It works out well, so I would think 9 grams of sugar is a typo.
