Ok, I just read another post where this happened to someone else. My daughter's Minimed pump has been alarming, when there is no reason it. It is not suspended, it was not set at a temp basal rate, the insulin level is fine and the battery is fine. She is also not laying on the pump (or pushing buttons on accident). It happens when she is standing upright.
Has anyone else had this happen? It used to be a once in a great while occurance, and today it must have happened 5+ times. We have had her pump for 1 1/2 years.
Should I call minimed?
Thanks

If it's alarming for no reason I'd definitely call minimed.

Thats happened with my minimed before. I called them up, and they sent me another pump. If you aren't comfortable with it, I think you should definately give them a call.

Hi,
Call MiniMed and explain your problem to Pump Tech Support. You will likely get a replacement after you are walked through your issues.
