When people change the pic by their name I get confused. I tend to identify people by what is in that little box! :o

I'm OK with being either a betta fish or an elephant with a flower. Prefer that in fact over my real picture LOL

When I read a post, I often have a picture in my head of the poster's kid talking since that is often the picture. I think of twodoor2 (Marsha)'s daughter as an absolutely genius kid, because I associate all the detailed info with that little girl's smiling face!
Me to! CJ's Mom really threw me for a loop when took off the monkey! It always takes me a few posts to flip my brain around!

I change pictures all the time:rolleyes: I take a lot of pictures so usually when I am putting them on my computer I'll change out here. Sorry, really never thought about it too much until now. I do associate the people here with their pictures though and am quick to notice a change too!

lol..I guess I've had a lot of people say.. "oh you are the Denise w/ the Calvin and Hobbes picture by your name right?"... I am so new here that I still identify people w/ the pics :o

Well Scott (saxmaniac) and Beth (etringali) both have the same sig pic, and I always have to take a double-take to make sure I know which one is which!!

I'm the same. And when they do change I always picture the old pic in my mind for ages.

Same here Denise. I associate people with their avatar or sig. And if they change it, I get confused, not sure if it's the same person or not. Won't even talk about when people change their name:eek:I'm like 'What? How?Where?Who?' (Welcome back Kotter-style...:o)

I often wonder if people realize that my avatar is a pic of Justin and not me.

I totally look at the pic and not the name. Then have to look at when they've been a member since to know if they've been around for a while.
I'm going to change our photo to be one of the two of us as I am Ivan's Mum and my posts aren't always ALL about him.
This is a joint effort (and besides, the pick is nearly a year old).
I really want picks of the parents by the title. It's almost a face to face conversation then.

here's hoping everyone thinks I'm a young butch woman.
Everyone would think you've got a great head of hair.
There could be a plus side I suppose.....

Maybe we should all change them to be pictures of "us" or us with our kids

I have been trying to get a pick in the avatar but my pics are always to big. Then when I try to save them as smaller pics, they become all distorted. Someday I'll get it figured out!

Lee-which avatar do you want, the monkey, me, Cj, the Bichon? (I looked for the monkey & don't have him on my home computer  he must be at work). Then we'll confuse Denise...

This is exactly what I did, but more because Grace and I both have D.
The pic of just me is still in my profile.

That reminds me, I really should change my picture. I joined CWD almost 2 years ago and this was an almost recent picture of Emma. Now she's 6.5 and almost looks like a teenager!! I'll have to see if I can find another cute one to change it to.......... (But I love this one so much!)

I call Haley my little monkey, that's why I like the monkey pic.
Emma's Dad, I agree, I love that pic of Emma. Post an updated pic in your thingie (profile?) at the bottom.
