Hello,
I am currently studying to complete a Master's degree in journalism at City University London, England. As part of my thesis, I am writing a series of articles on diabetes as a global epidemic. I am myself a type 1 diabetic. One of my articles will be focusing on type 2 diabetes in the US and the UK.
Therefore I am very interested in speaking with type 2 diabetic youth (or their families) that would be willing to share their experiences with me. It would really add human interest to my project, and would help in raising awareness of issues.
Your names could be changed if you wish, and I would really just be asking some simple questions about daily life as a type 2 diabetic.
