I've never heard of neonatal diabetes. Is it like Monogenic (sp?) Diabetes?

I know someone in my neighborhood. Found out just back in March or April that they were neonatal (a form of monogenic) and they have transitioned from insulin shots to pills.
Do you think your child has it? We are over the river in VA from you - near Dulles Airport.
