Does anyone have their thyroid test done taking blood from a finger?

My DD has Sensory Processing Disorder and is scared to death of having blood drawn from her arm. Our pediatrician said she could have it drawn from the finger, and we did it that way and it went better. Our endo doesn't do it this way or really want it done this way. I was just curious if anyone else has it done via the finger? Aren't the results still the same done this way?

We had a health fair at work and that is how Avmed checked our thyroid levels. We even got the test results back in ten minutes which was great. It seemed to be just as accurate as my other tests have been.

Our endo said no, it had to be from veinous draw. so unfair for our little ones.
