Hello all! My name is Glenna, I live in Phoenix, Az. I have 3 children... Twin 6 yr olds, and my girl Teagan, who is 11, and type 1 diabetic... She was diagnosed april of 2006... we are on intensive mgmnt. 4 shots a day... carb counting... novol og after meals and for corrections, and lantus at bedtime...I am looking to talk with and get support from other parents of kids with diabetes. Can't wait to meet all of you! :)

Welcome Genna,
London is on a similar program, he gets lantus in morning and humalog at meals. Welcome to CWD, sure you will love it here. I know i find it extremely helpfull for me .

Welcome. We are doing the same "routine" as you are-MDI. Hope this forum is helpful.

Welcome Glenna - We do the same, MDI with Lantus and Novolog. You will find a plethora of information at CWD on just about anything D and what ever else we discuss OT.
btw - my best girlfriends name is Glenna too.:D
