We just put a new sensor in Liv's arm today. Isn't it cute?:D

Here's another one that she had a few weeks ago. On this one we used a "groovy patch" for a MM silhouette.

The top photo is just stickers on the sensor and the bottom photo (tie-dye) is a "groovy patch" that is sold for MM silhouettes.

The stickers are much cheaper to use than groovy patches. Liv just didn't do well with silhouettes and we had some left over groovy patches and came up with the idea.

Liv's had a fun day! She got her ears pierced at the Dr.'s office with numbing cream prior to piercing. She didn't feel a thing. :) Then, we got the new "gem" stickers for her MM transmitter. And, when we got home the "patriotic lightning" skin for her MM pump was waiting for her. She's all decked out. Her friends are so cute, they noticed her pump skin and called it the right name! Then, they oohed about the earrings. Then, they asked where her sensor was (we had it charging). Her friends love the decorated sensor--they think it's so cute!

We just went to the grocery store and the young cashier complimented Liv on how cute it looked. The cashier even knew what it was; she explained that her friend has diabetes and has CGM.

Ok that IS CUTE!!!!! We are on Animas pump and I just got the info in the mail today...they have the CGM now!!! By they way... we have the groovy patches also...some time back I had a nice conversation w/ the owner and I urged her to add designs to fit other pumps...she does now make to fit Animas and others....

Thank you for this idea - My son loved it - he now is wearing a "sported out" transmitter - with baseballs on it! It made changing the tape out a worthwhile ordeal! In fact, at a party last night - he even was brave enough to take off his shirt and run around with the sensor/transmitter on his arm!

This is why I love this board so much - we have received so many great ideas from all of you! THANKS!
