What do your children do with their pump while going potty?:o
Nick just started on MM yesterday and is trying not to dunk his pump.
He is wearing it in his pocket right now because he had a hard time with it on his belt and pulling down his pants yesterday!
I may get him an elastic band to wear around his middle. But I don't know if he will like that during the hot sweaty summer. Hmm. Could I have him use the clip that came with his pump and clip it to his shirt (at the neck) while in the bathroom?
His Sure-T is on his bum and he is trying to keep it "clean", kwim?:rolleyes: Eeeewwww.

That's one of the reasons we don't use the bum, not very sanitary IMHO:o. We use the belly, is that an option for you?

Tori holds it under her chin when for some reason she does not have her pump pack on! :D Occasionally it will drop but so far, knock on wood, it has not taken a dunk!!

When my son wore his pump clipped, I would clip it to his T-shirt while he was 'busy' ;)
He now wears a pump pouch with a belt (not through the pants' belt thingys, just around his waist). He unclips the belt and puts it around his neck.
We put Tegaderm over the site, to avoid the undies from 'ripping out' the site.
That's one of the reasons we don't use the bum, not very sanitary IMHO:o. We use the belly, is that an option for you?
We had planned to use the belly, but the pump rep said to use his bum as she was not able to "pinch" enough around his belly or side. He is very lean in the middle but has plump buns!:rolleyes:

Ryan's 11 so I don't go in the bathroom with him, but I think he puts the pump on the vanity next to the toilet--he has the long tubing. But I'm sure disconnecting for a few minutes is fine.
Coco jsut holds hers in her lap while doing the deed. I once asked her what she did with it and she looked at me like I was crazy for even thinking it was an issue.

Samantha keeps hers in a pump pouch that has a belt attched to it so we dont have a problem with it falling :D
when we first started pumping they also gave us the sure t infusion sets and told us to only use her backside..that hurt her also my kid is thin so after talking to the Dr and MM they changed us to the Silhouette infusion sets they go in on an angle ..now she can wear it on her arm, belly, upper legs and behind, they worked much better for us...they look scary at first...lol you might want to check into the infusions sets

OMG same h ere. LOL.
If Ian's sitting he either puts it in his lap or it dangles on the floor. If he's standing...who knows..maybe he just leaves it in his pocket or holds it.
There's nothing unsanitary about using the butt. You're not putting it anywhere near where it could get dirty.
