I found the chat room and was told about the forums. I am not very literate when it comes to the computer so I find things by trail and error. I am Bobbi I am married to Mark and we have 4 wonderful children. I also Have a dd from a previous marriage. Tiffany-18, Mark-11, Mary-7, John-4 and Billy-2. John was dx'd with type 1 one 5/ 29/08. I stay at home for 2 reasons the first is I love being a SAHM. and the 2nd is I have cancer. I have been in chemo since nov. today was my last chemo and will start radiation shortly not sure when. My dh is a mechanic. We live in Florida. LIfe is tuff but the kids are our lives.

Hi Bobbi,
Welcome to the forums! I'm sorry for John's dx...I hope he's adjusted well so far. It seems kids adjust better than the parents:rolleyes:
I'm very sorry you're enduring such health problems. I hope all goes well, and send you my HUGS! I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to take care of a family, diabetes and your own health problems.:(
BTW, there are some Floridians on here, so maybe some will chime in.
Take care:cwds:

Glad you found this forum! My DD was just dx in May, too. It's a tough road, but we can make it one step at a time! :)
I'm SO sorry to hear about your cancer. It sounds like your family has a lot on their plate. I'm glad you all have each other for support....and now you have us, too!!

Welcome! I just joined the forums as well. My 8 yr old daughter Molly was just diagnosed in May too. I completely understand about dealing w/ too many medical issues. I had a kidney stone earlier this year! I am very sorry you are having to deal with cancer along with diabetes. I hope your cancer is cured and your family continues to have the strength and faith to face whatever comes your way!
