My name is Jessica. My dd Madeline (we call her Beanie) was dx on 8-1-06. We started on NPH, quickly moved to MDI and are now pumping with Cozmo. I have been lurking here for quite a whie and I really enjoy the company here so I thought I'd jump in and become and active member! It would really be nice to be able to "talk" to people who get it. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone better.

Welcome, I am also very new to all of this. I find CWD extemely helpfull to me. I know it helps to talk with pepole who are going through same things. It seems unless its really affected your life pepole really dont understand but one thing is for sure there is a lot of pepole that have a vast knowledge about Diabetes.

I haven't seen ya at Target yet, lol, but wanted to say Welcome to the boards.. You are correct in saying here you can talk to peole who get it.. This is a wonderful place with many knowledgeable people.. Plus there can never be to many Texans, here.. :)
