Tonight I was hiding in my car, talking to my friend on the phone, venting about the pneumonia Nolan has, and stuff... I saw the neighbor across the street coming up, so I kind of just sat still.
She came up to the door, and I heard Nolan answer the door, and then she left.
"Great!" I thought. "what did my kids do now??"
Her son is two years older than Nolan, and comes to "play" once in awhile. I give him a sandwitch here and there, and let him play until he becomes violent, and then I call my boys in and tell him to go home.
I gave up on confronting a long time ago.
But her kids have done the following to my kids.
1. accused Patrick of "keying" thier moms new car when he had not even been near it. (the kids had him in tears, and later they found out that a kid two doors down lost balance on his bike and did not have the handle grips on and there was matching paint all up on his handlebar-- Patrick never got an apology)
2. Swore at my kids from across the street--
3. blamed them for mangling another kids bike, but luckily I saw them and two neighbor girls throwing the kids bike from the top of a hill and raming it into a tree, so I got out my camera and made a little movie. Just in case my kids got the blame.
----you get the picture, and yes, some of the time, my kids do things wrong, but never to their property... usually they just fight with other kids, and hurt someones feelings.
But I was nervous when she came over.
I hid in the house for an hour because I did not want to deal with whatever it may be.
Then later... Nolan called the boy to see what his mom wanted.
She wanted me to take his stitches out... since I am a nurse, she figured it would be ok.
Sigh. now that is paranoia for you.
