About how many carbs are in a small popcorn at a movie theatre?

Christian is going to the movies with a friend tonight. I have looked on the movie site and can't find a weight for the popcorn. Do you have an idea on how many carbs are in a small sized movie popcorn?

56g in 9 cups, no butter

You guys are great. Does it usually work when you count it as 56 carbs? I am really nervous because this is the first time someone other than the nurse at school, our principal or myself have been with him when he is getting a shot.

Hunter has been fine. He is 11 but he hasn't gone low using that carb count.

And its hard to compare with my toddler but I rarely see him even eat a full cup.

Rosie counts 16g for 3 cups of popcorn...if that helps at all.

Also you could possible under bolus so he doesn't go lo? Let him run a wee bit higher. I'm not sure what your ratios are or anything though.

Sorry this is a little late.
We give insulin for popcorn, after she's done. If we dose before hand she goes low.
We do 5 carbs for one cup. About 8 cups in a small. Butter or no butter (it's fat).

Thanks for all your replies. They were going to a sneak preview of Hulk. Well Christian just called and they weren't able to get in because there weren't any seats left.:( So his friends sister is going to rent a movie and buy some pizza.:confused:
