Thank's to everyone the last few days as I finally found this forum and read some great information.
My son was diagnosed two and half years ago during HS Junior Year - He got double whammied with Hashimoto's thyroid and Type 1. It has been tough, a roller coaster. Finally got him off and away to college for one year and that wasn't so great. He came home saying he wasn't ready to be out on his own yet. His thyroid numbers are not good and he is swinging high and low with his pump. We never could find a good endo in his college town so we have him back home with his pedi endo.
I always keep the faith and can't even imagine what he is dealing with right now. All I can do is support him and love him!
