We have been pumping for a couple months now and life could not be better but our one problem is air bubbles in the pump line. When we change the site and prime the pump all is great but sometimes, right before it is due to be changes, it seems like air bubbles get in there somehow. Does anyone have this happen?? Any ideas or tricks to get rid of them before the sugar goes high???

This happens to Thomas too. When he changes his site he might have 10u or less left and there is always a bubble. I am not sure why or how to fix it, because he also has no bubbles when he does a new site. Maybe there are micro bubbles that we don't see and after a couple of days they become a larger one?

I am by no means an expert in air bubbles!! But make sure that your insulin is at room temperature before filling it in the cartridge. Air bubbles will form if the insulin is cold and then warms up to room temp.
