Last night my youngest child, Brooke, who is 5 1/2 and non D asked me if she could have some juice before she went to bed. I told her that she could only have water because if I gave her juice right before bed time it would keep her awake. So she says "but I have to have juice cause I feel low" :D It's funny how quickly they catch on.

I am working on that now with Amanda..when she is low and I give her juice, I tell her why..hope it sinks in...I want her to know that feeling and why she feels that way because of her diabetes..so one day she will say what your sweety did :) Good job Mom!!! :)
