Masterpiece Theater's "Elizabeth R" from the early 70's is my hands down favorite of all time!! I think I watched it about 8 billion times.

Masterpiece Theater "I Claudius"

Masterpiece Theater "Moll Flanders"

Masterpiece Theater "The Flambards"

. . . do you think I like Masterpiece Theater??? I crack up when I watch Sesame Street and Cookie Monster portrays "Alistair Cookie" for "Monsterpiece Theater."

East of Eden with Jane Seymour. I read the book after seeing that mini-series. LOVED IT!!!

Okay, if it's on sci-fi I probably watched it and liked it.

Iremember liking North & South. I was in Elementary school so I had to sorta hide from the parents to watch it.

I loved Shogun w/ Richard Chamberlain. I didn't see it on TV (I was 6 in 1980), but DH got the series on DVD and we watched it during a week of snow storms while I was preggers w/ Max. I remember DH, the fireplace, lots of blankets and Shogun...ah..fond memeories :)

Oh yeah, it was more reality, but that was really good.

I also like the PBS series where the people go back in time and role play. The Frontier House was the best.

I haven't watched a miniseries in ages but the only one that comes to mind is V from the 80's (the one with the lizard alien people). I loved that series when I was in grade school!!

I remember that! Marc Singer was HOT! Had a thing for him after seeing Beastmaster(still an all time favorite). i didn't realize V was a miniseries. I thought it was just a tv show that got the axe.
