My name is Holly and I have one child, Morgan, who is 10 yrs. old. He is an incredible person. He puts up with so much and still deals with having me for a mom. ;) Morgan was born with a rare chromosome anomaly called trisomy 18 or Edward's syndrome, meaning he has an extra chromosome number 18. He was not expected to survive past a week after being born. But he did. The odds were not in his favor to live to see his first birthday. But he did. He has tons of issues, but I will hit the high spots. He was always a healthy boy, but started having seizures at age 6 yrs. He still has them. He was diagnosed with scoliosis when he was about 7 yrs. old. When he was 8 yrs. he was diagnosed with hypothyroid. Then just this past March he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. He has tested negative to two of the antibodies, the anti gad and another that I can't remember now. Still, here we are.
