View Full Version : Hi All
I have been reading these posts for a couple of days and just joined today. My awesome son Josh is 17, a junior in high school, and dx November 2007. We are still trying to figure it all out, but his incredible attitude helps this worried mama. Thank you all for this forum. Mars

Hi Mars,
I just joined this forum as well. Welcome.
And welcome to you, too, Pam. Six boys!!!!!! WOW!!! You're not too busy are you? Your little boy is precious.

Hi Mars,
Welcome. I'm glad Josh has a great attitude to all this. Parents usually have a harder time than the kids (or young adults) do in adjusting.
Take care.

Welcome Mars! Our kids are incredible and amazing - they're my heros. Glad you found us here on CWD. It's a warm and wonderful place!!!
Thank you, OSUMOM. I live here in Columbus, Ohio - the heart of Buckeye Country. My husband & I are both alumni of OSU (we were actually college sweethearts), faithful fans, and we bleed scarlet and gray. Anyway, if your son is ever in need of anything, I am one local person who would be happy to help. My son is off to college in 2009, and it is already a source of stress for me. GO BUCKS!

Oh wow thank you Mars! My brother works at Ohio State and lives in New Albany so makes it so nice for us in planning for emergencies. My in-laws and sister-law are all graduates of OSU. Father-in-law was a member of TBDBITL! Big buckeye fans here too. :) Problem is none of that helps to get you into to OSU nowadays, and I have another critter who wants to get in 2 years! Maybe he can live at your house as a freshman in 2 years? Just kidding! LOL
Thank you for your offer to help in Columbus. :cwds: Let me know if I can help as you look at sending your son off to college. Sometimes it's hard to see what can be accomplished even one year from now, but there can be big differences made in responsibility levels, etc...
Hang in there! :cwds:
