Hello all,
My name is Tammy and I live in Walla Walla, WA! Our daughter Brianna has been type 1 diabetic since she was 2 and she is almost 11 now.
We have been to our first CWD event in Feb in Seattle at the pumpers conference and we were sooooo impressed! It was awesome.
We are planning on attending the FFL in Florida and can hardly wait.
The Feb. Conference helped Brianna so much to be able to be with other kiddos with diabetes.... it was so sweet... at the conference I asked her if she was having fun and she looked up at me and said, "Mom I LOVE IT HERE"... I asked her why and she replied "I'm not different here and everyone understands"... I about cried!
Brianna uses the omni pod and we are trying to get the navigator CGMS approved by our insurance.... previously she had used the mini-med pump and mini-link CGMS (which she hated).
