Normal BG numbers?

I know this has been posted before but I can't find it. My non-diabetic daughter has been saying how thirsty she is all day. So, I had my DS check her sugar 144!!!! :eek: Ok, don't panic...we are leaving a graduation party. So, 2 hours later 118.

Should I freak out or relax? I know there have been a lot of threads about this so I apologize for doing another....slightly freaked!!

If she ate recently, that's within normal range. :)

Anyones sugar will show up weird like that, especially kids. From time to time, if we all wore glucose monitors, we will see that we do, indeed go up.
I would not worry until the post prandials are over 200.
The rest of us go up when we are sick, under stress, etc...
I say 200, because you will get readings that are high sometimes with a NON D person, and is it really worth all the stress of wondering how to interpret this?

I've been in the 140's after eating, I test ocassionally cause I'm pregnant.
