endoscopy is tomarrow

Well our endoscope is tomarrow...Im a bit nervous, but doing well.. Charlize is NOT nervous at all... She amazes me every day...I will take her by my self. Hubby wiil stay home with our youngest...We have to be there at 5:30 am. The scope is at 7:30... we will get prelimianary pic's at first then the biopsy's in a week or so...We should be released 2 hours later.... I will come home and up date everyone after.... We are also supposed to leave for vacation on friday afterward.. so i hope it all goes well... WISH US LUCK...

Hope all goes well tomorrow. When Braden had his scopes, his blood sugar went up when we got to the hospital because he was nervous. Once they gave him the meds to relax him, his blood sugar stabilized. He was fine afterwards and his blood sugars returned to normal. He was groggy for a little while and was told to take it easy for the rest of the day. Good luck tomorrow!

We had some issues with kaylee's blood sugar BEFORE the endoscopy, along with ketones because she would drop low, so we'd to a 0 basal until they came back up.. afterwards she was A-OK, she was very silly.. it took about a 1/2hr for her to be awake enough to eat something.. she had to be able to sit up more.. of course, they didn't have any gluten free stuff, so she had parts of a bagel and a juice box.. I welcomed the juice box because I could give her insulin to get rid of those ketones.. we had issues with her BG last night, very very stubborn high (in the 300s) but she is also sick.. her bgs are better today.. they warned me that she'd be very tired yesterday, and that she'd take lots of naps.. NOPE she ddin't fall asleep until 7:30pm!

good luck tomorrow, I was amazed at how fast it was.. check her right before they take her in.. I know K's endo wanted her at 150, she was 147.. couldn't have asked for anything closer!

oK we are home !!! All went well... They didnt see anything from the pictures, no celiac, no ulcers,.. NOTHING! :D but we still have to wait for the biopsy.. that will take a week or so!!
