My friend from work and I just recently started Weight Watchers. We are doing the Flex Points Program. Trying to get those winter lbs. off! Someone else we work with actually goes to the meetings and all that jazz, but we can't afford to go, so she gave us all of her print outs of the foods she had the point values on. And her print outs for local restaurants. She also has this thing that lets you figure up the points on prepackaged foods and things that she does not have the point values for. Does anybody that is doing, or that has done the Weight Watchers points plan have one of these that they would be will to give to me?? Or if anyone know the formula that this little gadget follows that would be great also. Might be a long shot posting this one, but it never hurts to ask. I would pay you back how ever much it cost to ship it to me.
P.S. Sorry if anyone on here works for Weight Watchers and thinks I am ripping Weight Watchers off. I just can't afford to pay someone to weigh me and tell me what to eat. LOL!!

I tried, but could not count points for me and carbs for my son.
When I was counting on the side (gee - now might be a good time to start again!) I copied all sides of my friends slider, cut it out and stapled it to look and work like the original - oh - and I used card stock so it would be sturdier...

I did try it for a while but I did feel like it was a lot of extra work and left me thinking about food all the time, which is what I was trying to avoid :)

I am back to counting points, but I too got side tracked counting carbs and points.. Ugghh..
However I did lose 30 pounds and I am back on track and down another 5lbs. Needing to lose another 10-15..
Do you have the slider for the actual WW points?? PM me and I can send it to you..
Is this what you are asking for? there is a WW site out there that is free I can give you that information also. ALOT of good stuff there..

I was going to start back up at Weight Watchers (did it with good results about 4 years ago) But I think that counting carbs and keeping track of Tylers numbers is enough!! I might just go on my "Special K" diet and try to lose that extra weight before I need to break out the swimsuit. And today I walked to Dunkin Donuts for my ice coffee instead of driving! (it's a start);)

I have one of those little calculators...if you would like it pm me your address. My husbands a mail man...so no need for reimbursement. It that what you're looking for?
I have lost almost 65 lbs since September of 07....maybe more. I found that counting the points gets you started, but its just a change in eating habits.
Way to go and keep up the good work!

No, but I really should :D
Short story...a couple of years ago, I did go to one WW meeting. No worries there since everyone was horizontally-challenged ;) like me, so weighing was ok.
But the actual work of paying attention to points just blew it for me. I'm too lazy. I want the weight to come off by itself, but apparently it doesn't work like that...who knew? LOL
In any case, I've 2 friends who've done the WW points program and boy they lost weight and look great....so good luck to you!!!
Yes, I think the WW website has all the infor for free too. I think.

I have been doing ww since nov. It has really worked for all of us! I have lost 23 lbs and debating if I should try to get off the last ten or not. I kind of lost my mojo. Anyway I just wanted to say when I use my ww recipes Alli's numbers are much better! No fat spikes at all! My kids even like most of the recipes so go for it! It is just a healthier way to eat. BTW dh lost 47 lbs! He is lookin hot!!!!!!!!

Here's the formula.
http://www.thefactsaboutfitness.com/research/diet.htm
It's based on 50 calories per point and higher fat increases points value. While, extra fiber reduces the points values.
