In the film "Adventures For the Cure", Adam, a Type-1 diabetic has to manage his illness while biking up to 150 miles a day through rugged terrain, as he and 2 others ride across the US on single-speed, fixed gear bicycles to raise money for diabetes. The film also captures the touching stories of two diabetic children the group meets along the way. It is narrated by three-time Tour de France winner, Greg LeMond.
