Grey's Anatomy question

Ok...I watched almost the whole season finale last night. Did anyone see the very end where Meredith and McDreamy were up on that hill with all those candles, etc. I know he said "Wait for me, I'll be right back"....but I didn't catch where he was going and what he said. :confused:

I know this isn't a huge deal...but it ticked me off that I didn't hear that part. Does any one know what he said or why he had to leave her there?

I was kinda thinking that was where he was going. I was in and out of the room trying to get my kids to bed..so I missed that.
They still left it sort of hanging though. Will he really dump Rose? I hope so.

And WOOT - DIRTY SEXY MONEY is coming back in the fall - That was the BEST show. I know, stupid show name, but a really really good good show, very underrated. I really encourage everyone to tune it. it's rather funny in it's own way and really good stories and really good characters.

And futher W00t did anyone see the commeercial for taht "wipeout" show - which looks a lot like the Japanese "most extreme elimination" (any ever catch that on cable???" it's a freaking riot. )

I've missed a few episodes along the way too. Is Ava Alex's sister? What is pg?

Yeah, those candles were a little hard to fathom. She'd need a truck, perfectly calm winds, and how did she get those lines so perfectly straight......where did she get the time?...I thought those docs were overworked??

no no, Ava is the girl from last season that was PG (pregnant) and in that Ferry wreck. Alex rescued her and she feigned amnesia for a while. Initially she really didn't remember who she was but then after a while did remember but decided not to tell because she was running away from her husband. We knew back then that she was a bit unbalanced. Her face was fully destroyed and Alex helped her "pick" a new face, and named her Ava. Her real name is Rebecca (I think) so a few months ago she shows up and she and Alex get it on. Then she leaves. Then a few weeks ago she shows up again and tells Alex she's pg. She goes to the clinic area to get something for her nausea and for whatever reason Izzy does an exam and finds out that she's not really pg. She tells Ava/Rebecca but she doesn't believe it. Meanwhile, Alex tells Rebecca to get lost but then reconsiders and decides that he's going to help her have the baby and be a father to teh baby. Now Ava/Rebecca knows that she's not pg but won't tell Alex adn Izzy knows as well but cannot tell Alex (confidentiality).

This week's turn of events (learning about Alex's mother) was the first real hint into Alex's past. It's always been implied that he's had a troubled past but nothing has ever been said. So I suspect we're going to see a lot of alex next season.

(gee, I spend way tooo much time thinking about this huh?)

Yeah really. I don't get what they did with her (Callie). She was fooling around with McSteamy last night and then at the end of the show, she's making out with the female cardiologist (can't remember her name). She wasn't gay last year...and now all of sudden she is?

Callie and McSteamy have been doing the nasty in the on-call room pretty frequently. But both of them realized lately that she actually has feelings for Erica, which is kind of an amusing plot twist.

Responding to an earlier post - I think Rebecca/Ava really believed that she was pregnant. Even after Izzy told her that she wasn't, she was insisting that she was. I think last night Alex said that she was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, whatever that is.

I think Alex is a good character. I've met a lot of people like him in my life - generally good people who had a traumatic childhood, and thus screw up relationship after relationship in their adult lives. I hope we learn more about Alex next season. I always liked him and Izzy together.

I had that same feeling! Like when Izzy left Denny to get ready for the 'prom' and he had a pulmonary embolism & died. OMG I bawled at that. THAT was heart wrenching!!

Grey's Anatomy is one of my all time faves along w/ ER. ( I love medical shows....I grew up watching Quincy - ok I just dated myself)

ABSOLUTLY Dirty, sexy money is awesome!! :D Can't wait for it!

I think the most extreme elimination version will still be better though (than wipeout) - can't beat those japanese guys they have hosting! haha :D

OMG!!! How funny is that. I, too, missed the ending the other night so I finally watched it online just now. Then I find this thread!!!

Anyway, I have that gut feeling that something will happen to Derek. I'm also feeling like I did about the Ross & Rachel (Friends) situation. You kow they're meant for each other and you just want them to live happily ever after, but something ALWAYS happens to mess it up. (And secretly you love the drama of it all;))

I don't watch this show, but I grew up with Justin Chambers! We attended the same church for many years. I was in love with his older brother, Chip.:o His youngest sister still lives in my hometown and works with my best friend from childhood. It's funny to see him on TV. :D

i think that derek will either get into an accident on the way to see rose or rose will end up pregnant. there is no way he and meredith will get back together that easily.

My guess ... it's the ferry. When Derek is up on the land with the chief and McSteamy he says he is selling the land. They ask why and he says something about being done with it all AND that the ferry is dangerous.

In order to find Rose he must take the ferry twice, yes? Seems like a disaster worthy of a season premiere.

NOOOOOO Not McSteamy!!!! NOOOO lol......remember back 20 years ago when he was a dorky kid? Man did he grow up good!! I think he'll go back to Rose, who knows hes in love w/ Mer anyway, then go back & do the 'love me forever' thing w/ Mer....then they can sit back & someone else can be frontrunner for awhile....like George. That man needs someone or something. Although he did screw up w/ Callie ( him & Izzie just DONT go together)....him & Callie could have had something good but he just couldnt keep it zipped. Still....how many seasons now 4 or 5...all that sex & noone got pregnant except Christina? ( that was so sad too. I think deep down she really wanted that baby).....I think we're due for an OOOPPPS soon.
