Activity Day Camp for children with diabetes

The American Diabetes Association of Northwest Florida/South Alabama, in conjunction with area diabetes educators, will have their annual Activity Day Camp for children six to 12 with diabetes from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 14 at the University of West Florida, 11000 University Parkway.
The day camp will include crafts, fun and education.
Dr. Mark Kummer, chief of pediatric endocrinology at Nemours Children’s Clinic, will provide a seminar for parents on the day of the camp from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The seminar is open to all parents and families of children with diabetes, regardless of age.
Registration is required. The cost is $10 per child.
