Any of you that do arm sites, do you notice one arm being more resistant than the other?

When we use her right arm - we get beautiful #'s; when we use her left, she runs high - I thought it was my imagination at first, but I decided to start tracking and yep, she woke up at 299 today!

Oh, and she's a righty, so I would think there is more fat in her left, so it would absorb better

Danielle sometimes uses her arms at school but I have not noticed anything like you are describing.

When Kelton was on the pump we would try arm sites in both arms..He is left handed and when his site was in his left arm he would have good numbers..But like you are describing if he would have a site in his right arm we would see wonky numbers..At this point he became more active and would get his sites pulled out so he switched to his belly.

The Endo we had at Albany Medical Center couldn't explain to us why the arm sites were acting the way they were so we just stuck with belly sites and bum sites.

We have not notice problems on the arms UNLESS there are previous poke spots still healing. We try to do a rotation of arms, belly in and out then diagnol to let the other spots heal up. The we do arms again. We normally love the arms.
GOod luck and hope you figure it out.

OMG I think youare on to something here. I have noticed DD has better numbers on one oarm but I never paid attention to which one. I have noticed that the site lasts for two days instead of three as well.

I thought I was just crazy!!!

I don't use sites in my arms, but I think it might be because her muscles are stronger and bigger in her right arm. That could cause the insulin to work better, or be absorbed faster. I'm not sure...but thats what I think!:D
