I had a problem.......But I stood my ground and got our(mine and Tresston's) way.
As some of you have probably already dealt with at some point....school problems.:eek: Well, we were having an issue at school, with the teacher trying to make me drive on a field trip and Tresston would have to ride with me and follow the bus. We'll the more I thought about it the madder I got, and Tresston said if he had to ride with me and not on the bus with his friends, he didn't even want to go.
So, I put on my Big Girl Panties this morning(a figure of speech:D) and I marched into the school, and had a talk with the teacher.....I TOLD her that Tresston WOULD be riding the bus, and that I would be riding it also. And that if anything was to happen by chance, that I would have everything with me to take care of him and I would have my cell phone to call for an ambulance if needed!!! I told her that it was not right to not allow Tresston to ride the bus, and that after the first field trip that she made us follow behind the bus that Tresston was relly upset.
Then I ask her if she bothered to check with the places we are going to make sure that it is OK that I carry his supplies and juice & things to correct a low.She says,"No I didn't, but here is the number for you to call and ask them."
:eek:What the.....That's all I had to do!!!! I had a speech prepared!!!! I was ready to go get the principal....go the school board meeting tonight.....!!!!
I guess it was a good thing I put on my Big Girl Panties!!!:D
