Hi everyone. I am Rosemary from NJ. My daughter Amanda was diagnosed at 13 months old and she is now 2. I am married to Richard and I have 3 other children..Erica 18, Brandon 15, Ryan 8 and Amanda. I am very grateful to have found CWD website and have met some very nice people here who are always so helpful no matter what!! I dont know what I would do without this site..it has been such a blessing...
Amanda is doing pretty good for the most part...It is so hard when your child is diagnosed with Type 1...it is so much to learn and is certainly overwhelming. I want Amanda to live a full life, and hopefully in her lifetime, and the many other children here, they will have a cure..
Children with Diabetes has been my salvation!!
Is there anyone from NJ here from Monmouth County area?

Well...you kinda know me, LOL. :D I'm in Manahawkin, near LBI. My endo is in Neptune though. I go there Friday. Very nervous about it! :o

Hi Rosemary! I live in the Mt Holly area currently but I am originally from the Cape May area. It has almost been a yr since my son was diagnosed. It has taken me until now to find a babysitter who will give him the shots so I can get a job. So I definitely know of the financial and emotional strain.

Hi Rosemary,

Wife and I are both originally from Spring Lake but now live in North Carolina.

Not too many better places to be than the Jersey Shore in the summer!(particularly the towns of Monmouth County)

Hi , I am in Monmouth County...:) Why did you move to North Carolina? Which is very nice too by the way..I had the opportunity to go there to Raleigh a few years ago.
Its Memorial Day weekend here, Sandy Hook opened up today!! :)
