I am wondering if it's worth the investment of my time and $ to get the pump software.

I'm not using the new linked meter yet but hopw to start soon.

I like the idea of having all of our info in one place then downloading (uploading?) it onto the computer to analize and email to my endo.

You can just upload it all to Carelink online and print out reports and stuff and move it to Excel or something like that . no need to buy the software, IMO

Did you get the Carelink USB thing to upload the pump ?
If not I would call MM and have them send you one.

You can get your pump information and meter information into the Carelink software for free. You need the USB to talk to the pump and a cord from your meter to your computer to download.

I like havign the information when I need it - I use the carelink atleast once a week to look at averages, figure out what her standard deviation is, review settings, etc.

I use Carelink to upload my Guardian. The reports are pretty good, I just don't like that the reports are in a pdf format. They should give the option of viewing them in html.

If you make an account on Carelink, theres a link to get a free Carelink USB device. I received mine in 3 days.
