I'm EmmasPapa, father & father-in-law of Brensdad and Emmasmom and grandfather to Emma 3.5, dx'd at 9 months. Started pumping at 2 and started on CGMS several months ago. Emma thinks I am a toy.:)

Also have a non-D grandson age 9, and my best buddy.

My special interest is encouraging extended family members, especially grandparents, to play a larger part in D care.

I'm already familiar with your posts and now your blog. We are lucky that one of dd's grandmothers has dexperience and recently went with us on our pump start appointment. She babysat the week after dx. And she lives 7 hours away!
You are a great role model for grandparents who think it's too scary, overwhelming, or hard to learn.
