Ok this may sound silly but...

Has anyone ever had problem with the PINK Insets?
The first time it happened, I thought it was a fluke, now we ordered a whole batch again and yep, problems one after the other. Sets kinking, bending, tape curling etc. Never had this problem with green, blue or clear.

I'm going to call Animas they will probably think I am nuts, but we truely have had issues across the board with pinks!

Our very first box of blue insets was one kinked cannula after another. We've not had that problem since after the first box was gone. Made pump start difficult, I called the trainer to come show me what I was doing wrong. By the time she called back days later, we had started on a new box and had no more problems.
I've read others having a bad box and Animas replacing the box. I just didnt know that's what it was till we had moved onto another box and looked back. Hope you get good boxes soon, it's very aggravating.

Our first color we used was the pink ones. Its a girl thing..lol.. Two boxes were no good. It wouldn't stick at all. We sent them back and they sent us new ones. Only 1 box of the greens were bad and haven't had a problem with the blue ones yet.. knock on wood.

Mia does not like pink , so needless to say we have only been using blue, clear and green. Btw when will they add purple to the list of colors for things! We love purple in our house :D

Wendy - I just wanted to update you. We tried the regular insets on William (they were blue fyi!) and the first one lasted 3 days but he always complained about pain when bolusing. And when we pulled it out he said the spot itched and bothered him. The 2nd inset seemed to fail on us about 40 hours later but I couldn't see obvious problems. He decided he did not want to use them.

Hope you figure out what's up with those pink ones!

Wow. That must be frustrating. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your perspective) we have had no problems at all with Insets of any color.

So I spoke w/Animas today and (if you can believe it)...I'm not crazy!

The gal I spoke with said that they have had mixed reviews on the performance of the pinks, and they are gladly sending me replacements and allowing me to swap out my remaining 3 boxes (I think they're jinxed!).

We have had problems with the gray not sticking. I called animas and they will trade them out, but if you don't send the bad ones back you will be charged for those that were sent (that's what they told me). I got the new ones in a few days.

I'm glad they are replacing them. We've only used blue and haven't had an issue yet (knock on wood!). Glad to know that they are willing to replace them though!
